The Lowara DOMO Dirty Water Pump series is suitable for use in domestic, civil and industrial applications where the water, such as groundwater, surface water and sewage water contains suspended solids up to ø 50mm.
A Dirty Water Pump is used for removing water that is likely to contain some solid particles. Typical dirty water applications for this pump include such as for draining flooded areas such as basements, cellars, underground car parks, car washes. This pump is also capable of handling sewage water and can be used applications such as emptying cesspools and sewage disposal.
To ensure long life, the motor has a double mechanical seal system in wear resistant silicon carbide to prevent water ingress. The stainless steel rotating shaft is also protected by a lip seal which prevents sand and other abrasive material damaging the shaft seals.
Constant lubrication by the DriveLub system ensures long life and trouble-free operation.
